Carol Stewart Village is a 62-unit, one-story community. This project was a rehab of an existing motel structure to efficiency apartments and presented the unique opportunity to transition-age adults (18-24) in the Franklinton and surrounding community. Carol Stewart Village offers an affordable, long-term, housing solution to young adults who are experiencing homelessness, including but not limited to those who are precariously housed or have special needs. On-site service coordinator support will aid in the personal and professional development of its residents. The youth-centric, dormitory-style, community offers education, physical and mental health care, and mentorship opportunities.
Construction began in November of 2019 and the project was completed in August of 2020.
